		<description>Good article and example of over indulgence in any activity. 

It is easy to loose ones self like this and overindulge in the countless  things we encounter from day to day. It seems when something sparks our interest, it is in our nature to strive, and become the best at these things we learn and do. Almost as if we cannot help ourselves, whether it be a sport, education, job, relationships, etc., we jump into activities feet first without looking. Like the moth flying into a flame, there are time when we crash and burn. 

Hopefully you will continue playing chess, as the benefits outweigh a few negative experiences. I am certain you encountered fond memories and friendships from this too. :)
