Hat
This is post 2/7 in my weekly series of my Winter Survival 2008-2009
Hmm…I only have one item for this category. I guess it’s probably because I don’t really wear hats, or at least I didn’t until I got this one. If I were not given this hat, I probably still wouldn’t ever wear one, and my head would still freeze. I definitely don’t have a specific link to this hat either, because it was custom made for me by my roommate for my birthday present. Thanks again, Sarah! If it were not for you, then my head would have been frozen on those days last week when it was like 20 degrees. For those of you who insist on clicking on a link for everything, her blog’s here.
This is probably the first hand-made article of clothing I’ve ever had, so I figured I would show it off here. I just thought it was pretty cute and very practical for really cold days. After all, they do say that most of your body heat is lost through your head on a cold day. I’ll need to remember not to wash this so it remains as soft as it is right now.
